Telephone

This is the FAQ section for everything telephone related.

  • My phones don’t work.

    • Is it all the phones or just one? If it is all the phones, does the main unit seem to have power? If the main unit has power call the service provider: AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner, etc.
    • If it is just one phone, have you tried swapping the phone with another one? If the problem follows the phone you will likely need a replacement. If the problem stay in the location you will likely need PhonesUSAplus to come check the phone jack.

     

  • How do I set the time on my system?

Internet/Networking

  • My internet isn’t working.
    • Is it all the computers or just one?
      • If it is all the computers you need to reset your modem and/or router. If the problem persists call the service provider, they can see if your modem has a connection. If they say you are connected call PhonesUSA for a service call.
      • If it is a single computer, restarting the computer is always the first step. If the problem persists check to make sure all connections are firmly in place. If you still have issues call PhonesUSA for a service call.

 

  • My printer isn’t working.
    • Network Printer: Be sure you are connected to the same network as the printer. If so, restart your computer. If still having issues try to remove the printer from your devices and reinstall it. Always download the newest software from the manufacturers website to reinstall the printer. Call PhonesUSA for a service call if still having issues.
    • Direct Connect Printer: Be sure all wires are plugged in. If it is plugged in, try removing the printer from your devices and reinstalling it. Always download the newest software from the manufacturers website to reinstall the printer. Call PhonesUSA for a service call if still having issues.
